Noteworthy notes of note:

  • SMG-3000: Louie (So Long and Goodnight) was drawn over three or four days in preparation for the forst anniversary of My Chemical Romance having reunited; for this drawing, I based it off of Helena and made it take place in Louie Watterson’s funeral (his voice actor, Shane Rimmer, was the first English cast member to pass away).
  • SMG-3000: Feeling This was conceived because I thought a band with Sonic, Mario, and Gumball would be amazing; the instruments that I Roger Rabbited into this picture are the Gibson Tom Delonge Signature ES-333 for Gumball, the Fender Mark Hoppus Signature Jazz Bass for Sonic, and the OCDP Travis Barker Signature Drum Set for Mario.
  • SMG-3000: Make It Stop (September’s Children) was drawn ten years after nine teenagers all took their own lives due to homophobia, which Rise Against made this song about.
  • SMG-3000: Light High is based on the song by Crestillion and sees me pulling three color palette challenges on the characters.
  • SMG-3000: The Distance was conceived because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the separation that I and billiona of others felt from contact with the outside world.
  • SubMachine Gun-3000 Concert Poster features Mindy the Clown and Sandra the Lizard of Tall and Small from Dani Bowman’s cartoon short The Audition; I included this as a thank you to Bowman for being my animation teacher at Inclusion Films in 2017.
