Damn dude! this is awesome! your lines are so clean and they flow so well!
So, I've been trying to improve my workflow by selecting the flat background area of an image and reversing the selection to select the figure (instead of using the lasso tools to work all the way around and create a single selection) This seemed to work OK, but with images like this brilliant one from devgear where the outline isn't solid, the method isn't as straightforward. Oh well, I live and learn.
I really like Devgear's work, so check out the gallery using the link above.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the lineart. Devgear did the lineart as I'm no good at that yet. I've only added flat colour, but thanks anyway.
eto eta ufffff men (this is awesome!!)
Thanks!
the colors you used make the image really pop! both you and devgear did an amazing job on this!
Thanks. The flat colour file is available as a pad file using the link in the QR code so I'm hoping that people will be able to use it to practice their own digital colouring
Thanks again

Spectacular piece! It brings a nostalgic classic feel.
Dude, this looks sharp as heck. I've been loving this style I've been seeing around of having really detailed line work, but limited pallet solid color shading.
It genuinely looks amazing, like I'd like to see this as a cover for an issue.
Thanks. I have to give props to Devgear who did the lineart though. I thought this was an excellent challenge to flat as it was only moderately complicated.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks
Luke
