Internet IRL, September COTM Entry

Share

Here we have the final drawing of my entry for Jazza's September COTM.

I've used real people as references for this piece, you may know them.

-Markiplier is used to represent Youtube. Not because of his subscriber count, but because I believe his energy and persistence greatly represents what Youtube embodies.

-CrankGameplays is used to personify Tumblr, as I see him as being very similar to the stereotype of the typical Tumblr user: naturally energetic and constantly being distracted from the task at hand. (I am one of these people)

-Apocalypto_12 I used to convey Twitter, as that is his main social media and he shares things that I believe should be shared more often; positive messages that help people when needed. He is such a light in the sea of negative people, that I wish most people would be more like him.

Yes, these are real people. I enjoy the quality content they make on their individual platforms greatly, however they are not the only people I aspire to be like. This piece was done not a fan art, but as an entry to Draw With Jazza's September Contest Of The Month, Internet IRL. I chose these amazing creators to basically represent as the individual websites. There are a long list of creators that I would gladly draw as well, however I believe that these people best fit what I drew them to represent.
