I used Snow White from the brother's Grimm. I used several references from XVIIIth century clothes (the work being published in the 1810s) to construct her character design, as well as color samples from natural dye palette to create this outfit. Because why not put Snow White in pink ? Her stays/dress are underneath that little brunswick ! Kid needs to cover up. I believe this combination of extremely pale skin and pink outfit looks great. If I would go for a more modern look, I would use a more sakura pink. Pastel pink was quite achivable on silk, but I think our persecuted girl would prefer wool to keep herself warm.
