I recently started using this program called Maya in school and I have to say that I am enjoying it quite well.
This image is a close up of a face I made in my graphic arts class. I cropped it down to just the eye because the rest of the textures are lower resolution. (I got lazy) Regardless, If I do actually finish this thing It is going to be a statue with some crazy eyes. I also used photo shop on the screen shot in order to add the dark effect around the eye and also to create the textures. I used 3ds max to make the light textures because I have no clue how to make them in Maya.
Oh and it is not a photograph.
