Not so long ago I saw the news that the new part of Deus Ex was canceled. On this occasion, I decided to draw a thematic illustration. To be honest, the news is quite sad. Deus Ex is a good universe with equally good games. I've played Human Revolution, Mankind Divided, and I think one day I'll play the first part of the game series. Even though this franchise is not wonderful for me, I still like the game series. Moreover, Deus Ex was once one of the main motivators for my ardent interest in science fiction, technology and thoughts about the discoveries of humanity that await us in the future! And to hear the news about the cancellation of the next part is slightly sad.

It is likely that one day we will eventually see the new part of the series. The only question is what quality it will be, and how much it will depart from the plot and gameplay of its predecessors. That we still have to find out.

But let's not just think about the sad things. After all, we still have the previous parts! Every existing game in the Deus Ex universe with its unique atmosphere, story, gameplay and philosophy will continue to warm the hearts of fans for many years to come. And even if we don't see the new part yet in the coming years, the legacy of the Deus Ex universe will live on!

Не так давно видел новость, что новая часть Deus Ex была отменена. По этому поводу решил нарисовать тематическую иллюстрацию. Признаться честно, новость довольно печальная. Deus Ex - хорошая вселенная с не менее хорошими играми. Я играл в Human Revolution, Mankind Divided, и думаю однажды сыграю и в первую часть. Пускай эта франшиза и не является для меня великолепной, мне всё же нравится эта серия игр. Да что уж там, когда-то Deus Ex был одним из главных мотиваторов для моего пылкого интереса к научной фантастике, технологиям и размышлениям об открытиях человечества, которые ожидают нас в будущем! И слышать новости об отмене новой части слегка вызывают грусть.

Вполне вероятно, что однажды мы таки дождёмся новой части. Вопрос лишь в том какого она будет качества, и как сильно она отойдёт сюжетом и геймплеем от предшественников. Это ещё нам предстоит узнать.

Но не будем думать лишь о грустном. Ведь у нас всё ещё есть предыдущие части! Каждая существующая игра вселенной Deus Ex с их особенной атмосферой, сюжетом, игровыми механиками и философией продолжат греть сердца фанатов долгие годы. И пускай новой части нам пока что не видать в ближайшие годы, наследство вселенной Deus Ex будет жить!
