Wow!
The colours are awesome. The lightning and the shading are excellent. I really love it.
14" x 17" Prismacolor Markers and Colored Pencils on Bristol Board
I did this piece over a period of 5 months. It has a pretty weighty conception story, which would reveal a little more about my character than I'd care to if I told it all. As far as method, it is basically a compilation of images that I drew on someone's skin, then reinterpreted to different extents for the sake of this piece.
The term "Asymmetrical Lattice Work" was my contribution to a list of 'oratorically pleasing phrases' my friend was compiling at the time.

back again
i've had this in my favourites since you submitted it, and really its the only one i have that i continually come back to see. its the kind of controlled personal chaos that i've always wanted to master, since you've still managed to make it ultimately appealing and lovely to anyone, despite the obscurity and the meaning of the elements behind it. the palette is just perfect too, and i cant believe this wasn't done digitally, its so error-free. i'll keep returning to this image, hoping one day i can match it myself.
wow
Amazing, thats quite alot of time and effort, crazy stuff. Beautiful
