Moores is a bit different from the other cognizant robots you might meet in what's left of America.

For one, he's a chef, one of some renown as well, not just anyone gets three Michelin stars after all, though he rarely makes food for people anymore after the war, more recently he's taken to feeding the local strays, whom he cares for.

One could say he's basically an oven with limbs and a face, though he wouldn't see it that way, though he does indeed have an oven built into his torso. The last few years haven't exactly been the kindest either, he's gotten a bit beat up, but that isn't stopping him. He may come off as a bit intimidating, and he is very serious about his work, but is also generally friendly and nonviolent. Just don't threaten him or his animals, because he doesn't use that blowtorch for baked alaska anymore.
