No eyeballs and conjoined hands

Digital painting of one of my characters for a story. Despite the somewhat disturbing picture, he actually lives a normal life with a husband and a job. I really like painting and hopefully the more I like it the more I want to improve and really learn about values, tone, shading, etc.
My characters name is Ilya, and he lives in Finland as a freelance artist. He loves working with any kind of art form.
