And here we see a Lemon Shark Waifu and a Tiger Shark Waifu reacting to the presence of a human male diver. Under normal circumstances, these two species would interact in a peaceful, even friendly manner with each other, however the presence of the diver seems to have disrupted this. The Tiger Shark Waifu originally approached the diver, presumably to receive head-pats, a highly coveted form of affection amongst many species of shark waifus. Seeing this, the Lemon Shark Waifu appears to have jealously rebuffed the Tiger Shark Waifu in order to monompolize the diver's attention and receive all of the head-pats for herself.
While such interactions between humans and shark waifus have historically been rare, scientists have noted an increase in the number of documented cases in recent years. While reasons for this are unclear, it is speculated that as our understanding of these amazing creatures has improved, the fear that the public has regarding them has begun to be replaced with curiosity and there are a growing number of cases of individuals (mostly males) seeking out interactions with shark waifus. Scientists strongly advise against such actions as our knowledge of shark waifus is still incomplete and there have been cases of males being abducted. Thankfully, all such cases seem to resolve themselves within a few days. Abductees are usually found on beaches unharmed, but unable to remember anything of their experience.
Scientists are currently planning an experiment to induce a series of abductions in order to determine what, if anything, happens to an abductee while abducted. There have been no shortage of volunteers and scientists expect to have a large body of documented observations to analyze within the next few months.
