The colour and lighting is very wel done it actually looks like its glowing from the colour use on it. The reflection on the head from the infection is a great touch.
I think you can make the void sharper and the background less in focus. Aswel I not sure of the story being used here. Is it consuming the infection or is it just a cool pose? Maybe you can try to lean in one idea and make it very explicit. Like pure bad ass or actively consuming the infection.
