The Serpent - Fantasy continent map (scroll for variants)

Finally my map is done!!!

It was a very big project for me (at least compared to how uninspired I felt before I started working on my fantasy world). Also unfortunately I am not ready to post the map with city names, so I hope it doesn't look strange without cities listed lol. I might either re upload this with city names or completely remake this map in the future (this is still just a concept, I was stressed every second of making this because I had no clue what I was even doing lol)

The mandatory lore bit for these images: Human Kingdom is one big kingdom, so even though Serpent's Head, Serpent's Body and Serpent's Tail govern themselves and each have their own provinces, cultures, rulers etc, they work as a unified kingdom, with the capital in Serpent's Center, a region in Serpent's Body. If big matters are to be settled, ruler from every region has to vote on it, though the great ruler's vote counts as the deciding vote. Serpent's End isn't human territory and is the territory of the Dragons, which I will talk about at a later date :)

This is so insanely detailed!! Amazing!!

Thank you!!!

This looks very thought out, all the little details of terrain really makes it look real(lol), some time when someone draws a fantasy map, they look a bit artificial, but yours lack that feeling. That's especially impressive considering overall wacky shape of it. Good job! Love to see city's of this land

KontraVersus responds:

Oh wow! It's cool to see you say that, because I did have some of the locations here planned (Serpent's Head was the most thought out region here because one of my OCs was born there hahah) but most of it was very spontaneous, so thats nice to hear :D
Not sure when I'll plan the cities but it might be soon, or later with a map overhaul (or I'll just leave it like this, I'm not sure yet x) )
Thank you btw!

Honestly, I wouldn't have noticed the lack of city names if you hadn't mentioned that, and even now I don't think the maps look weird without them. It's a very cool-looking design, that does a good job toeing the line between being recognizably a serpent but not looking so much like one that it no longer looks good as an island.
