Denzel Pablo Reyes Orblee was born as a late-bloomer, not developing any dragon abilities until he was seven years old. His parents, Ethan Escarra Reyes and Orblee the Healer, were worried that something was wrong with their son, but they soon discovered that Denzel was just a late bloomer. In fact, he turned out to be a master of using the four basic elements: fire, earth, water, and air, also known as an elementalist.

Denzel's unique heritage as a human-dragon hybrid of Japanese and Mexican descent made him stand out in Randomville, a Toronto-Manhattan like city with diverse creatures from worlds across the multiverse in another universe. He was only half-dragon, and his short height made him the odd one out in the Dragon Divisions organization located in Randomville.

However, Denzel didn't let this get to him, and he always gave his best to learn and train alongside his fellow dragon comrades.

Denzel's fiery personality often got the best of him, and he was easy to make angry. However, those who got past his rage and sarcasm found a kind person and a great friend who would do anything to protect his loved ones and friends. Denzel was particularly close to a group of friends that included (but was not limited to) Blaze and Hollow he regularly hung out with, and they often attempted to save Randomville from mass destruction. However, their efforts weren't always successful, and they caused destruction at times. Nevertheless, they were all still learning and growing.

Denzel's origin is an interesting one to say the least. His father, Ethan, was a tough blacksmith with a compassionate heart who procreated with a female Japanese dragon named Orblee. This happened when Ethan was attempting to be one with nature and stumbled upon Orblee, who was trapped in a giant trap and needed help. After Ethan freed Orblee, she offered to repay him in any way possible. Ethan was taken by her beauty, and they ended up breeding with each other, leading to the birth of Denzel.

Denzel's birth was unique as he inherited diphalia from his grandfather on his dad's side. Despite this, he grew up practicing his dragon abilities and learning both Spanish and Japanese with a little bit of English on the side. However, his life changed when a portal to Randomville appeared and sucked in Denzel and his parents. Since then, Denzel has been a part of the Dragon Divisions organization, fighting alongside his fellow dragons as well as group of friends and attempting to save Randomville from destruction.
