It has been a while since we've last checked on this unusual family! During this time, their bond only got stronger. Adeleine never stopped trying to comprehend The Company's speech and is now able to follow a basic conversation for a little bit.
As for The Company, it has become easier to understand their mother's language and accent. Some words are still tough to understand but it's enough to get what she is saying.
I may be spitballing here, but the "ZOY" on Adeleine's shirt may be a reference to King Dedede ending his sentences with "zoi/ぞい" in the anime, "zoi" being an archaic (read: out-dated and hardly in use today) sentence-ending particle typically used by middle-aged men and older indicating mild emphasis along the lines of "don't you think?"
WOOOOOOOOOO!! KIRBY COMIC! LESGOO! Also gotta love how bleak is just: Aight- so mom is gonna die- (2 seconds later) I never doubted you for a second!
why does bleak have the best personality lol
