Appearance: Boyish in appearance, Kenji is 5ft 9 with an overall slim and skinny build, but with no real lack of muscles. He has yellowish skin with olive green eyes and light brown hair tied in a ponytail. His choice of clothing is that of a plain dark blue dress that goes down to his knees and dark blue dyed leather shoes. He wears three sword sheaths as well: a Daimyo katana sheath on his back and one Tanto sheath on each side of his waist. (His Daimyo is custom made; the blade is 5ft long and the handle is 1ft. The unnamed Tantos are 9 inches long each.)

Personality: Kenji is silent and stoic outside of combat. He doesn't have much to say, and he's quite shy even if he did. Because he comes from a society where almost everything was fake, to be in Asmana, where the truth is carried through the very air, everything feels so much more defined-more real. In combat, he's focused and tensed yet relaxed in a way. Everything seems to slow down. The surge of blood he feels as he charges his enemy is what he lives for, and the feeling of victory as his opponent lies defeated before him isn't far off from being an addiction. He's also highly dominant, whether in a fight or in the bedchambers-he takes control and dictates what's going on and what pace it happens at.

Backstory: Kenji isn't from Asmana. That much is obvious to anyone with eyes. He comes from a faraway land to the southeast called Nakimuto. The land is beautiful, but it has it's flaws. The people there value image and honour as the only things that matter, with culture and traditions coming a close second. Kenji was brought up to be an ideal boy who conformed to tradition like the rest of them, but he was often found in the backyard practicing with his father's sword. He also wore his older sister's dresses and shoes because he felt more comfortable in them, even though his parents gave him hell for it. Shortly after he turned 22, he realized that things needed to change. He wasn't happy with his life, and he didn't even know if anybody around him was real, or if they just acted the way tradition dictated they should. Did his parents even love him, or was that part of tradition too? Unsure of the answer and disillusioned with all the cultural limits, he took his father's sword, and cut his family's copy of the land's rules to ribbons. He didn't even know what he felt as the pieces landed on the floor. He left shortly afterwards, burying the sword to put rest to his past life. Now, 4 years on, he strives to find out who is truly is at heart, hoping that fighting-a universal language-will help him find out.

Lives: Mobile, but right now he's in Asmana.

Talent: Highly skilled with his Daimyo sword and two Tanto blades. He mostly uses his Tantos when offense is the best strategy and his Daimyo when he needs to defend himself more. He can switch between the two options at a moment's notice, as all three sheaths are within easy reach for him. However, his real skill lies in his ability to demotivate his enemies; whether he's relentlessly rushing their defenses down with his Tantos or perfectly countering each of their blows with his Daimyo-if you can put the idea of failure in your opponent, you're already halfway to victory. He can also temporarily enchant his Daimyo blade with fire magic he learned from a tome, letting it cut through almost any physical defenses-a state he calls "Moeru Shinjitsu" or "Burning Truth".

Ambition: To find who he truly is, at his core. He believes that fighting will reveal it.
