Neurodiversity, Rainbows, EVERYTHING! (2023/4/22)

This is another one that I have for a story for this... so yeah
It was posted on Instagram but I had reached the character limit, and I'll just post everything here. It's in my notes anyways.

Neurodiversity isn't a well known thing here in our little red dot. Neurodiverents probably do even know they may be one. They may have problems talking with other people, among other things. We know that autism is a thing, but I just want to let you know that these people come in all flavours, and again, some don't even know about having it. How about that?

Something tells me that I'm different though. I vibe differently with others. Others meaning not a lot for some reason. Most likely, I'm mildly ADJD with possible hints of either autism or OCD. It's self diagnosed but I'm very confident. Please bear with me!

"No what the hell you look very normal-" that's not the point. It's my inner workings, and unless you're a magician and you know what's going on up there in my head, you can't see what I'm thinking.

Yes, I think. A lot. I think so much that I couldn't get myself to sleep sometimes. It's that bad. Whether it be me getting myself impossible and absurd situations, romance, sex, violence, and everything in between. I see it in my mind everyday (I can't actually see it though, I have aphantasia), but I've masked myself so much that I could consider being a normal functioning person on the outside.

ADHD makes you forget, and I forget, a lot. I hate instructions because I always forget. I get scared of doing instructions, because I might forget a step or two later on, and people just see me as more of a burden because I skip steps. I never meant it that way though, and I will apologise if a screw anything up. I'll try to make things better, I don't know how, but I will do it.

Out of people that I tried meeting, I found two that were like me. I actually liked one of them... before she blocked because of her respect of her parents and their parents do not want any business to do with me. Great parents eh? /s
Oh well, opportunity wasted. Gotta find a new one I guess. Wonder how long will finding that special someone would take. Again I have to say it, I don't like networking. Even though it's super super important in this day and age. I know. I don't like it.
I see people, tell them what's up, ask them what they do, they mention a job which is much more superior than me, and then I go "Whhaaaaaaa?" because I know some of the concepts that they were talking about most of the time (this is because I like researching random factual stuff so sometimes I could grasp on what they were trying to say), I then compare myself and I feel shit because I can't get  on their level, I feel sad, cycle continues. Again, I think a lot, and way too much compared to an average folk.

Still, with the current standing that I am right now, it's a blessing in disguise. ADHD peeps tend to be really creative, and I'm quite honoured to be one of them. So here's to me learning more, and pushing boundaries to be better and talented than before!
