Van Gogh's Sunflowers in Pointillism Style

Share

My entry for the June 2017 Challenge of the Month is Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflower piece, but it's style is swapped for pointillism. When you look at the painting from a distance, it looks like a normal painting. But when you look up close, you'll see that it's only made of little dots. One of the most famous pointillism paintings, called A Sunday on La Grande Jatte, is made of about 3.5 million dots! My painting definitely doesn't have that many dots, but it sure did take a long time to make! Here's the work-in-progress photo link: https://goo.gl/photos/1FCuZQoUPHMYpmdf9
