The lore of the "Grimataur" v.0.98

Short Version (A short summary for Jazza. :D (If there is no time for the long version)) :

The "Grimataur", that's the name I've given my creation after the incident.
A golem, ment to help people, ment to do tasks that we are not strong enough for.
Until version 0.95 I could not think of an efficient fuel. But I discovered that ectoplasma works, which is essentially the leftover soul of a dead human. Of course i wanted to fix this, a golem that runs with dead people is unacceptable!
Unfortunately I totally screwed up. Right when I finished v.0.98 and thought that would solve all problems, everything went wrong.. I don't know what I did, but he went sentient and even worse, he decided that dead peoples souls were not good enough..
Now he roams through the streets, collecting the souls of people and improving himself...
I do not know what we can do against him... IF we can do something against him....

And before someone says "this shouldn't count, it's a robot, not a grimataur"
My Grimataur meets every requirement. He is mostly black, covered in scale(armor), has phonograph as horns and exhaust pipes as a tail. He uses souls as fuel, so he kinda devours them. He has a strongman like hulking build and obviously is humanoid bipedal and lives in human areas.

I still don't have a name for my creation. Well, it's not really necessary right now anyway. Everything works right and I'm looking forward to finishing my little golem. The exhaust pipes are installed and the hydraulics are working properly.. at least seperately from the motors and machines. The hull is still missing, but I built it already, it is just easier to install everything without the hull. I will install it for the first test run, to see if he can lift all the weight.

I put some phonograph horns on his head, so he can play some nice music while he is doing his work. Most people seem intimidated by his appereance, so I figured some music may help. But on the other side I had to change his eyes to a red color.. just makes him even more intimidating, but they work better. Now they're just some cog wheels missing and we can go for the first test walk!

v.0.86
With all the black steelarmor he looks kinda mean, I think I'm going to put some fancy designs on his bigger plates. This should make him look nicer. Also I should change the eyes back to the blue color, red just looks.. evil. Also the fuel right now is way to expensive and not at all efficient. His last text run was over in five minutes.

After two more test runs I am really afraid that I can't affort the fuel anymore. Luckily I heard of a guy in town who invented some kind of "super(natural) fuel". I wonder if this is real or just some commercial gimmick. But except for the fuel, my little golem is running almost perfectly!

I'm kinda torn.. the fuel is so perfect, ectoplasma fuel. I can just gather it for free on graveyards.. but that's so messed up.. I can't use what seems to be the souls of dead people! I'm not that kind of person!...

So I tried to change some big things here on my little golem. But (i think i'm imagining this) he is twitching and refusing changes now. Tighten the screws that I loose up, pressing air through his systems when I'm at the hydraulics.. this feels so odd..

I have a hard time fixing the engines, machines and the fuel system.. it seems like.. he is rejecting anything else than this new fuel.. Now I'm afraid and scared of my own creation.. I don't know what else to do then shut him down completely..

I looked for him this morning. But he is gone?!

A few days later I heard people screaming about a monster.. luring humans with tranquilizing music and using their souls as fuel..

I have a name for him now. There are legends about a black, horned beast that devours the souls of innocent people....
