It reminds me of this traditional art, where soft pinks and light is used. For some reason, it reminds me of Munch and Picasso's pink period. I really love it.

i honestly loved this piece so much!! the shading is done beautifully, and the boy standing in front of the person laying down settles a eerie vibe. I love how dark the darks are, and how light the lights are, but maybe adding more highlights to the boys head would make the boy stand out even more.
