This was sketched first then I used my drawing tablet to airbrush the Northern Lights because Christmas lights are just as colorful so the reflection carries farther on the white snow. The question was how does Santa get his elf workers to help during the holidays, this picture says with the presence of bears they are more certain to behave good and not argue about wrapping presents or making nice gifts for people. The habitat for the bears is still getting built by Saint Nick but the lights along the roof let the elves know they will soon sleep and they won't be used as food for bait.
