Finally tried using layers today with my drawing tablet I normally just draw around the edges carefully and then I erase the bad lighting effects from the transfer to camera onto the computer even scans lately leave streaky particles. So using one layer seemed necessary since the background isn't clear enough for the programs to determine solid boundaries. Yet after watching Jazz tutorial I was focused upon at least trying to inertia background for some of the pictures that still have blank space around the main image. So I guess the tricks after duplicate the composition then to have both pictures adhere select multiply or else it remains with white edges and frame. But that is sensitive also because the top piece stays thin so the entire back picture shows through the objects. I can use the photo corrector to fix major flaws but it's not enough and it has to be repainted. At least I now know how to cut and paste two separate drawings together though.
