A drawing I had to fix after the first time I changed the coloring to gray tones because I wasn't sure if the shades I used depicted night time correctly, but I decided I like it better with using a blue and lavender that have been tinted with grey. I wanted the outlines of the characters to be visible enough to see the facial features but didn't add too many details like the bodies look like they are wearing leotards because it would be fairly dark outside. It doesn't really have much blatant skin but the shadows in the dark are a good way to study how to add depth to portraits in any light even landscapes can use other techniques rather than grey to indicate dimension. Also because I wonder why in Dragon Age how the campfire was always concealed from the opposing army of Logaine it would be smart to have tents but the smoke from fire would leave trails so the lantern is more practical for the situation. I guess they had to stay warm though.
