I made this piece with a mix of Artist Loft, Copic, and Spectrum Noire alcohol markers. I tried to make everything in it a nod to what's always been, and now is, my inspirations. Starting with the obvious Bob Ross and Nick Buchanan, I grew up on both of their shows. The background is a depiction of a scene from TheOdd1sOut Spider video and I included the green balloons on both TheOdd1sOut and Jaiden's backs as a reference to their victorious Mr.Beast airsoft challenge, congrats to them both for that, and of course I had to have Jazza wearing his VR armour equipped with his pen sword he crudely made in the comp announcement video.

I can not say that I am completely happy with this and I did struggle with the idea of not even submitting it, but what made me decide to anyway was the meaning behind it. I decided to depict a kid struggling with his creative ability, feeling lost and hopeless in it, I set it in a cave to help emphasis that feeling. In his sorrow the Artist Army Generals find him and help him find his confidence. Even though I'm MUCH older than this kid I feel like he is a representation of me at the moment. I grew up an artist and went to school to be an artist and my fears wound up holding me back, after 15 years of ignoring that side of me I was lucky enough to find the artist community on YouTube and am beyond grateful for how much it has lifted me up and rejuvenated my artistic side. I really just want to say thank you to Jazza for being such a great inspiration to both me and my daughter, I love watching your channel with her

All-in-all I'm ok with how this turned out, I know I still have a long way to go to get back to the skill level I was once at a long time ago, but I'm enjoying the journey that I have begun to get back there so far.
