This looks pretty cool! Like the use of color. Also, never thought of the metal virus referencing Heroes, good eye.

In Sonic Heroes if you press a certain button combination in the multiplayer, your team will get a metallic skin.
I'd like to think that the Metal Virus in the comics is referencing these skins.
