hey y'all! first time entering Jazza's COTM! :') i've always wanted to enter but can never get inspired; this time around i was able to get inspiration and finish the day I saw the video loll.

this is Ruby Do (she's named after one of the nail polishes used to make her! the color of the hat lol) and her familiar cat, Valentine. I just loved making her! it was certainly a process, I don't remember exactly how many hours but it took about an afternoon and then some.

The main materials used were 6 different nail polishes, masking tape (LOTS of masking tape) and a makeup wedge to do the gradient on her dress. She's painted on a small 8x6 canvas and I also sketched her out veeerrry lightly in a pink watercolor pencil.
