This work reflects upon his character and how his peers view him. Musically inclined, the picture depicts him as being one with his instrument, a symbol of his skill - as though it is a part of him. If taken away, it's as though his own organs are missing.

He breathes music through his lungs, and as such, travels and inspires people to admiration. Such as the ladies. They look to him as an idol, an inspiration, a romantic interest.

The colours of the background portray an ever-evolving presence, an ephemeral quality to his life. The future is of little worry - as it stands, he has chosen to let himself flow through the rivers of spontaneity, feeding himself with spiritual energy as depicted by the patterns painted in negative spaces. They are transient, but as soon as they fade, they re-emanate from his body. He is a source of life, and freely gives it.

Hazy smoke with leaf patterns reveals his activities as a joint smoker -- who may believe in a long, prolonged, derangement of the senses in order to obtain the unknown.

There are many things that are unknown to the viewer, but perhaps the greatest mystery that many agree upon is that he has such a profound effect on those around him.

I like how dynamic all the lines are without any clear direction. I especially like the musicians neck, it has a nice shape to it, so much of the painting doesn't have any defined shape. Very colorful and fun to look at.

fuck i'm high...great art!!!
