Homophobia and being accosted for being what you are can hurt. Seriously hurt. It's painful to hear the comments. Scared to walk down the street. Afraid for your life.

Specifically, to have your worth diminished as a man is heartbreaking. You're made to feel you're not enough. There's something wrong with you in some way. They say "You sound gay" and it stings. You recite the same sentence over and over, wishing you could be something else.

You are enough and there's nothing wrong with you; You're sanguine. You're my friend. You're my brother. You're respected by me as a man, man to man. For friends, I will wrap my arm around you, stand beside and fight with you. For my lovers, male or female, I will be here when life is daily and when struggles are real.

For every LGBTQ+ human in the world...When you're broken, hurt or in pain and need to cleanse your soul, cry on my broad shoulder. I hear you, I see you, I love you and I've got you. It's okay to not be okay.
