Artwork - Waffledramon

For this week's personal project, I thought it'd be a good idea to draw a Digimon.

Since, you know, the Pokémon anniversary is around the same time. Maybe I am a contrarian after all. I'm currently watching Digimon 02, and was pleasantly surprised with Flamedramon as a character. The years of watching him get warped and transformed by furry artists and fan artists all over the internet led me to believe he was more of a blank slate, but I was happy to find out he does have charisma. Besides the Veemon evolution line might be the only evolution line in the whole franchise that makes at least a lick of sense.

So I was talking to one of my friends, who's really into Digimon, and I mentioned how if Flamedramon were to flip waffles he'd be Waffledramon. And so I thought of drawing him...flipping pancakes (though those look more like crêpes than anything else). Also yes, he's not wearing anything under that apron, why would he need to? And that apron is a reference to that botched re-edit Digimon movie, a line I just can't keep out of my mind for some odd reason.

Please, let me know what you think of it in the comments. I appreciate each and every single one I receive.
