This is only a small piece of a piece of a piece of a larger piece of an even larger thing(not exaggerating) that’ll hit the web sometime next month.
I remember this started out as the simplest plan and it’s only compounding on itself with more evolution and ideas tacked on. Any time I get close or have it thought out in my head and on notes, something will hit me out of nowhere and it only makes me like it more and subsequently other people will hopefully.
I’m gonna do a big news post about all the background once it’s out and that’ll feel nice to have out there.
Funny enough I don’t think I’ve told anyone about it in it’s entirety, just bits and pieces here and there; maybe other people think about this too but I always have the lingering thought “If I died rn would this be accessible/legible to anyone that may happen upon it” in the middle of a project. Not in the narcissistic sense of “my work is so important that it must be seen by all” but a personal disappointment that I wouldn’t see something to it’s completion and meaning of life yatta yatta. I’d really rather this get done is what I’m saying, come hell or high water

Oooh I know that fear... But what can you do?
Oftentimes, the experience and vision of one person is so unique that it can't be easily replaced by another person. And I'm not even speaking of the personal relations you have with somebody in a team or through your art...
If you think about it that way, it's a nice reason to feel happy that most of your favorite persons are still there :)
Going off of your author's comment, I guess that's every artists fear is that their work won't get off the message to others they were hoping. Really awesome work you're putting out and I'm excited to see this finished. The realistic look in these pieces is so nice and love the dark lighting.

The 4-Cat text seems to hover over the wall, almost, but otherwise I really like the light (or lack thereof) with this one. A both nostalgic and dystopian type of glow... do miss those payphones. (at least over here they're all gone now). T'A bigger bigger bigger piece hmm... will be interesting to see!
