We will not talk about how there's no Technical Tuesday #6. Focusing on head perspective again because of the catastrophic failure of my Marci project.
So funny story about my day today. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with a local Medicaid claims representative trying to figure out how to properly submit an insurance claim for a pair of hearing aids. The call was essentially her explaining the entire system from start to finish, nonstop, for ninety minutes. I took three pages of notes. We still didn't manage to get everything figured out before she had to leave for a meeting, so I'm going to study the notes I made like an irresponsible college student preparing for a final, and then call again tomorrow afternoon when she's free again. The reason the office I work at doesn't work with private health insurance firms is because unlike Medicaid, they actually have a reason to try to squirm out of paying. Getting to this point with Medicaid took me three months; I think I would probably die of old age before Anthem decided to cough up any reimbursement.
So anyway, tl;dr is that I lost most of my will to live and didn't finish this completely.
