I'm still working on heads in perspective, and I thought hey, while I was at it, I could also practice drawing expressions. I also wanted to build a consistent prototype of Iris, because I realized I didn't really have one nailed down yet. I'm committing to the softer, flattened nose and half-ponytail.
Generally I'm pretty good at intuitively knowing how to portray a certain general emotion, except for sadness. It was unexpectedly kind of hard to draw Iris sobbing at three different angles, not only because it's hard to draw a crying face but also because it's hard for me to LOOK at a crying face for like an hour and a half XD.
Remind me to draw Iris being happy to make up for it.
