When I made the decision to revamp my branding identity, I started thinking about some "group shot" illustrations I loved, like this, or this. As I also talked about in a recent news post of mine, this branding identity would serve as an umbrella for any medium I work in. That said, I wanted to show 10 characters: 2 from each of the mediums I've talked about, 1 from projects I've put out in the past, and 1 from a project I've yet to release. Going clockwise, starting from the upper-left:

Requital: Inspired by heavy metal mascots like The Guy, Knucklehead, Eddie, Snaggletooth... most of this character's body is fittingly hidden in shadow, considering it represents a musical project that is some ways off from fruition, inspired by the metal bands I've come to love through the years. Funny enough, the name Intrapath was originally going to be used for the project itself until I decided to use it for my branding as a whole.

A Heartsick Vampire: The protagonist of my children's book, Heartsick!

Tank: A mech from my 2014 YA sci-fi novel LOCKED, available to read here.

Conductor of the Zodiac: A mascot of sorts for my 2013 music project, Orchestra of the Zodiac, where I wrote a song for each zodiac sign, genre and mood based upon the sign's traits.

Death on a Leash: A main character in an idea for a brief comic I've had rattling around, focused on a pitbull whose owner loves him too much to let go.

[insert player's name here] the 2nd: The goldfish from my 2011 pseudo-tycoon game, Wait in Gold.

Claire: A main character in a black comedy/drama novel I'm working on, titled Russian Roulette with a Black Widow.

Me: Me, Myself, and I.

Queskablu: A poor victim of watery circumstance in a short I made a few years ago, available to see here.

Unrest: A character in a surreal short film I made an animatic for some years ago, and plan to bring to fruition someday, about a creature living in a hateful house made of elephant bones and machinery.

Frost: A redesign of a character going waaaaaaaay back, and was going to be the protagonist of a scrapped platformer I was working on with others some 10 years ago. The new path the game will take retains its platforming origins, but with a focus on upbeat surrealism and the joy of movement.

Designs for all future projects can and probably will change, of course! Anyway, enjoy!
