Anyway, this was a great learning experience for me, I don't often work digitally (anti-aliasing anyone?), or, in fact, finish my sketches, so it took a lot longer than I anticipated despite doing the linework traditionally and using my own Wacom Tablet. I also noticed that I really don't work well to deadlines - even though I heard about the challenge nearly as soon as it came out, I only got working on it the night before the deadline!

The Legend of Zelda series and its characters was, of course, created by Shigeru Miyamoto, and is exclusive to Nintendo. The Adventure of Link was released in 1987, on the NES.
