I really like how well the gbc style textures transition to 3d! what are you using to make these?

Aseprite for 2D, Blender for 3D, and an link plugin called pribambase one of my mutuals makes that lets you live update textures as you work on them over in aseprite. https://lampysprites.itch.io/pribambase
