"Recreate a piece where the scene or artwork portrayed (from modern or history art culture) is swapped in style with another iconic and recognizable style/artwork."
So I decided to swap the chaotic 'style' and world of the walking dead with the lighter, cleaner scene from Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam".
Did I really swap a style? Maybe not. Is it recognizable? In my opinion it is.
Soooo.... Sadly the image did get a little messier than I wanted it to become, but since zombies don't fly like God can in Michelangelo's piece (heck, if zombies can fly I'm nope'ing out of here real quick!) so they needed something to crawl on/over. Since I also didn't want Daryl in his dark outfit (I wanted to keep the piece somewhat lighter like in the original) I had to draw him "naked". What are reasons to get naked? Indeed, bathtime! And thus a stream was created, with a sunken car for my dear zombies to crawl over U.U The red flag on the car was mainly for sake of color xD
So yeah! Enjoy C:
