A fair lady who once lived in the City of Arrogance, Beverly Everlock ultimately met an end passed on to the Heavens. From there, she wandered around, taking a shine to the colorful dragons that flew in-and-out of the place. Signing up with the Chalkydri, Bev found herself transformed into one of them. As a Chalkydri, Bev met two new friends in the form of Kalei and Val, who would eventually become her spouses. She sometimes worried she didn't have as close a connection to them as they had to each other, but regardless, she loves them to no end. She also had five children as a Chalkydri, Josephine(The energetic, cheery one), Spike(The angry, fiery one), Hera(The timid, easily-startled one), Egret(The lazy, spacey one), and Mux(The laughing, rowdy one).

  Bev is an easygoing airhead who usually doesn't let things bother her, mostly because she doesn't dwell on them for very long. Indeed, there are instances where she forgets what her specific job is and just tries making those in front of her happy, usually with hypnotic colors involved. By her own admission, thinking is hard and sometimes things slip her mind the moment she focuses on something else. Fancy terms and words or sarcasm tend to fly right over her head, and she doesn't even see through Kalei and Val's disguises even when they change right in front of her. Val has, more than once, wondered if she's just messing with them, since she's made just as much progress on her job as her much smarter colleagues have. Whatever is or isn't going on in her head, she's quite content to spend her eternal afterlife making people happy.

  Despite her ditzy valley girl personality, Bev's a caring (and pretty protective) mother, and probably isn't someone you want to fight. While dense, she shows some impressive skills in some fields, being a talented painter, cook, and decorator, she's capable of raising five kids and juggle an otherworldly job, and unlike Val and Kalei, she's never gotten her true nature exposed to mortals on the job, not unintentionally at least. She was actually the first Chalkydri Sora met on his adventures, specifically in Wonderland, and taught him a hypnotic spell she knew. A beautiful, benign, but baffling lady, Bev's always eager to see new places and meet new people, even if not everyone she meets is so friendly.

Bev Chalkydri Facts

• Like her spouses, Bev's design was tweaked a bit here. Her red eyes are now gold to match her outfit and she only has three colors in her hair as opposed to four. Her outfit also has a more prominent...side-view. Also purple eye-shadow, and the dark parts of her outfit are lightened up a bit.
• Bev sticks out quite a bit compared to Val and Kalei, who use more cool colors while Bev prioritzies warmer colors like pink, red, and yellow. Also, she's taller than either of them, as both Kalei and Val are around 5 feet while Bev's a whopping 6 feet, which puts them around the height of her shoulders and chest. The fact that she was born a mortal while the other two, heck, even her own children, were all born Chalkydri, further emphasizes this.
• As mentioned above, Bev actually has some impressive skills, including cooking. She's the best chef in her house, and ironically, the only thing she never gets right is a microwave dinner. Figure that one out.
• Bev's favorite movie is Fantasia, because she thinks it's pretty, and her favorite shows are The Muppet Show and Phineas and Ferb, which she watches with her kids.
• Her favorite video games are Puyo Puyo, as she thinks it's adorable, and Animal Crossing, because she loves decorating the town and houses.
• Bev's hairstyle is based off of Will Vandom's from W.I.T.C.H.
• Bev's favorite food is chocolate, and her favorite beverage is apple juice.
• Bev, as mentioned above, is better at keeping her true nature a secret from mortals than Kalei and Val. People have only ever found out she's a Chalkydri because she lets them, and even then, she doesn't just go revealing this willy-nilly. She took an acting class when she was alive, and she gets more into her roles than the other two do. A bit too into them, to the point where she forgets when to stop. Case in point, she once took over the Cave of Wonders to hypnotize Aladdin. She forgot she was meant to leave after helping him, so she stuck around in the cave long enough to hypnotize Riku, and later Sora, when they went into the cave.
• Bev does seem to know a bit about character design, as she tried filling in the empty space on Banban's body to give him a more defined look. He did not like getting a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses painted on his mural.
• The Chalkydri Trio, and many of their brethren, witnissed Kingdom Hearts becoming whole again, ushering in the death of Corruption. They were stunned silent, and as Bev held her children, the three began to think to themselves...
• Val: So this is it. The beginning of a new age, the rebirth of the Heart of All Worlds...
• Kalei: They're so big, and they're getting closer. I wonder, are these people freaking out about this merging killing us right?
• Bev: Why does everyone make a fuss about Gonzo looking weird. Like there are so many other Muppets that have weird, unknown species...
• Kalei: I don't know if I can look away, they're almost together...
• Val: I am honored to witness this once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon...
• Bev: Scooter, Sweetums, Bunsen, Beaker, Big Mean Carl, all of the Electric Mayhem, Clifford, a lot of the monsters on Sesame Street-Ooh, those Hearts are pretty!
• Bev was the final Chalkydri Paletuna attempted to ask about their "boss and creator". I say last because Bev accidentally hypnotized Palutena during this questioning, forgot what they were talking about, and decided it wasn't important, which a mesmerized Palutena took to heart, so she likely won't be questioning any more Chalkydri any time soon.
• Being part of an open marriage, Bev has quite a few crushes outside of her spouses, specifically Kamina, Hong Meiling, Morrigan Aensland, and Anakaris.
• Bev's language of love is acts of service. People she has romantic, familial, and platonic love for get treated to delicious food and even some house-flipping, or something close to it. This is outside of her job of "hypnotize people and set their lives on new directions", but she either doesn't know that or doesn't care.
• Unlike Val and Kalei, whenever Bev goes into "vicious maneater" mode against someone evil who's threatening others, Bev doesn't sport the same expressions. Kalei and Val's usual smiles turn into creepy, sharp-toothed grins when they're faced with an evil meal. Bev simply looks like a mixture of anger and hunger. It's likely because she used to be human and feels a bit weird about eating someone, even if it's someone with no heart who's going around murdering, torturing, or violating innocent people. This may also be why she's better at blending in with mortals, as she was one and can connect with them easier than the otherwordly Kalei and Val.
• Despite this, her mind did adjust a bit to her new Chalkydri form. Like the other Chalkydri, she takes a huge liking to hypnotic colors and loves showing them to others. She didn't even know what hypnosis was before becoming a Chalkydri.
• Bev's eyeshadow isn't makeup, she's taking advantage of how Chalkydri can alter the colors on their bodies. She's also taken advantage of their body-manipulation abilities, as her chest was actually a bit bigger when she was alive, but she toned it down as a Chalkydri. Yes, that is her toned down.
• Bev's idiocy is a tad cartoonish, but she can still read, write, and count, even if math is a pain for her and her handwriting isn't terribly fancy.
• Bev also enjoys using her new form's more animalistic traits as well. She sometimes expresses herself by sprouting cat-like ears and has imitated a lamia by forming her legs into a snake-tail before. She's fond of the snake tongue too.
• I've never clarified who Bev had her kids with. The go-to suggestion would be Val, but it's a tad ambiguous, with the whole open marriage thing.
• Bev actually has a fondness for horror movies, with Nosferatu, Killer Clowns from Outer Space, Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, Ice Cream Man, and the Banana Splits being among her favorites. I guess she likes the more out-there ones compared to slashers and torture flicks.
• She's also a Dead By Daylight fan. She's probably better at it than I am.
• Bev's preferred music is EDM.
• Bev's favorite place to be is somewhere pretty and warm, such as Skyworld or Agrabah.
• When she was alive, Bev was a house flipper, and how she died isn't clear (Yeah, I'm a cryptic dick), her last words were "What's that?" If she has family back in the City of Arrogance, it's likely they were the first people she tried her new mesmeric powers on.
