I didn't want to miss Pixel Day this year. So I spent all day making this visual I had in my mind as I went to sleep last night.
Palette below image is 6 colours.
I'm particularly happy with how the ocean floor and bubbles turned out, but I'm worn out now! I need pizza.

Thank you! For most of my work I use Paint.NET.
I don't do landscapes very often, I usually do character art, but one tip I can give is to use photo references. And in general, just stick to it and study techniques in pixel art from games that look appealing to you.
This looks amazing! The ocean is really difficult to draw and you did a great job! I love how much character your clouds have

Thank you! I went through a few different attempts with the clouds and just settled on having them more stylised than trying to make them look too real/detailed
