Makes me wish they still sold tankmen figures in the store
This is my first complete 3d printed action figure of a character. I've made a generic skeleton/armature before you can check out here. I think it turned out alright for a first attempt. The model is super unoptimized for 3d printing so I had to chop each part up into pieces that would print without having supports everywhere. I can post the .stl files and even the .blend file if people want em. I want to design an action figure skeleton I can more easily print that I can snap other printed parts onto to make it into different characters. Stay tuned for developments on that. Articulation breakdown:
I wanted to include more stuff like different mouthplates/visors for different expressions, different hands, and a pistol for the figure to hold but time constraints prevented that. If I do a new Tankman fig later on I'll see if I can include em.

To quote a certain review channel with a *certain* obsession with a *certain* joint, given the existence of a Devilman no Uta parody about it
"This figure is amazing!" (Double Godzilla kiss)
"The slight issues might seem like gripes but that’s about it."
This is such a cool piece! Not only the piece itself, but showing us the process and the inner workings of it all. If these were made into an official line of action figures, I'd get them for sure!
Creature and Character Building System
So true! (The ball/socket joints are actually based off of Bionicle/CCBS joints. I don't have any on hand to test it, but they should be compatible.)
This is truly incredible, articulation looks surprisingly expressive and functional given the design. I'd be real excited to see a v.2 with those interchangeable mouthplates, visors, and hands since that'd take things to the next level. As is, though, this is still excellent.
