its alright
its a solid picture of yoshi. unfortunately, its not much of an imrovement on the original design. im a big fan of cartoon icons being done in various different styles. the only thing really done here is that you applied a light source. dont get me wrong, its a very accurately drawn yoshi head but i wouldve liked to have seen your own take on it. kinda like how you drew your version of metal gear rex. finally, i think you should submit more color art. you seem to have a solid idea of value and reflective light. color would give your cartoon sketches the vibrancy that they demand.

You definitely have a valid point, but I didn't really do this for the art portal... :/ I just felt I should share a random drawing I did a while back, mainly because of the shadowing, yes... but also to see what people thought on this kind of accurate drawing style in general.
I'd draw in color too... but I don't really have any good colored pencils or anything (not to mention I don't really like working in color xP)... There are some colored pencil drawings I do like though, I think UnderARock did a lot of cool ones.

It would be better, except...
Don't draw on lined paper. It ruins your images.

It's just that it's usually the only paper I had with me at the time and I really felt like drawing... :/
