Considering how absolutely inept the OG Snow White was it wouldn't be surprising at all.
I mean - the apple wasn't even poisoned, she just almost chocked to death on it

As for the blends - it's mostly about using a soft brush (or eraser in this case) and mixing it with some hard edges for cast shadows so it doesn't get all blurry :)
