Happy Pico Day! This lil shit and Newgrounds as a whole was a memorable little part of my childhood (for better or worse), and coming back around to it as an art-creating adult that is actually semi-aware of how to function is a headspin, cause its pretty much just as i remember it. Cool art, games and creations all around. I was thinking about my art journey recently, and how I begun. The first fanart I can remember drawing (that i'm sure is sadly long lost) was done in the computer lab of my primary school at lunch break, my ass parked in front of a Newgrounds browser tab. Now look where I am, practically the same way, just as an adult in my own home! Dunno whether that's a win or loss to be honest.

As a lackluster reward for somehow finding this (as I am not scouted nor advertising myself anywhere), here's some warmup bits and pieces I did to test just how I'd draw Pico, and how I'd express his one-of-a-kind personality... being real it was mainly for testing his hair. Then i proceeded to discard ALL OF THIS and draw MindChamber's adaptation, because it's beyond nostalgic for me. maybe I'll come back to this adaptation sometime...
