Aymeric, another DnD NPC in my homebrew session :)
he's 1/2 Winter Eladrin and 1/2 High-Elf, but he mostly just looks like an Eladrin; his mother is Liluth, a character i posted here quite a while ago (last july)!
i had been planning on giving him a proper token for my game (a shame that i only did it after we stopped playing!) but i'm glad i waited a bit, since i really *really* like how this turned out!
below are some more DnD sketches that never got finalised because i am a lazy, lazy man.
Aymeric as a kid with his mom, Liluth. i tried to show that the underneath of his hair used to be red like his mother's, but i don't think it's super apparent lol. either way i like this drawing, and i wanted something like this to show how Aymeric was pretty close to his late mother at one point.
Aymeric and his old adventuring party, which was nicknamed "The Band of the Merry."
they started off taking bounties and eventually graduated to doing large-scale, proper quests.
from left to right:
Aymeric the Eladrin/High-Elf wizard, OisÃn the Minotaur barbarian, Ulilala the Lepidfolk cleric, Derthag the Orc bard, and Callahan, a living skeleton and warlock.
I created them because I enjoy making DnD parties a bit too much xD
this sketch is something the players of my session gave me the idea to do since they shipped two of the NPCs (Aymeric and Derthag) together HARDCORE lol. i like to leave things up to interpretation, so i never did confirm or deny if they were in a relationship together, haha.
this was also pretty self-indulgent, as i just like character design -- though if i could, i'd edit Milia's skirt/tunic combo to just be a one-piece tunic dress, as that would fit in better with the world.
and this last drawing is my Hobbit PC Rudolph and his sister Mara, who are for a LotR campaign run by a friend :)
since the timeline of the campaign is set before the Fellowship exists (before the Third Age), i wanted to make him an ancestor of Samwise (i only decided to do so because i noticed when drawing this, the similarities between him and the True and Honest hero of LotR (or the version played by sean astin, at least). i tried to avoid making it too fanfic-y, so he's not anything particularly special or outlandish -- i wanted to use it mostly to anchor him into the story and give a timeline of what happens to him after the campaign.)
and that's all! i hope to share more big posts like this, but i'll hopefully be back soon with more art regardless :)
take care, everyone!
