This is Flaahgra from Metroid Prime. To my knowledge, this is approximately the 1st image of her to date on the site. This is one of those video game bosses that everyone remembers fighting, but know one really remembers what it looks like... if that makes sense. All I know is that when I first encountered her, I took her down in 4 minutes and 12 seconds (minus cut-scenes)... Yes, Adolf and I clock each other - to see who can speed run better... Anyways, in that limited amount of time, I only caught a few glimpses here and there; nothing truly remarkable aside from the claws and overall design. On the second time through, I decided to spend enough time on her to draw this... I added the rest of it at a later time. I'm finally back home on leave, so I decided to post it. My little nephew Heinkel Jr. is obsessed with all things Metriod (I swear I had nothing to do with it... much) and I've seen him ogling at this, so I've decided to have it laminated and present it to him for his birthday on the 16th of July... my brothers and I plan to take him fishing. His father was killed New Years day of 2005, we plan on visiting Heinkel at the Cemetery as well (Heinkel Jr. suggested the Idea, not us...); I miss Heinkel - he always stood up for me and my friends; he was Adolf's hero. I think his son considers him a hero too...Anyways, I hope you enjoy this picture; it took a few hours of prolonged combat to produce it.
May God bless all of you.
