Sort of a quick drawing of a particularly irate, human proportioned wasp. I have a really bad case of “Vespaphobia,” so this is basically what I perceive whenever I have the misfortune of spotting one in the wild.
I don’t really feel like I’ve been at the top of my drawing game for awhile now, but I think it has to do with the paper I’m using. It just feels dull, which makes my markings just blend into the same shade of graphite, which makes it hard for me to identify what’s an outline and what’s a finer detail. Any suggestions for what kind of paper I can use in the future?
