"While on an expedition in the rainforests of the South Pacific, a group of scientists discovered a mysterious, fleshy pod that resembled an egg sac. One of the scientists took the pod to study it, and found it contained a yet undiscovered species of nematode worms. Some time later, all members of the expedition group were found murdered and dismembered by that same scientist. He claimed that the worms had taken over the other scientists, and had no choice but to defend himself. The scientist was then taken into custody and the pod was taken into the states for further evaluation. Unfortunately, the pod was now found to have been empty, and the worms have escaped into the sleepy suburb of Crystal Grove."
