Cassidy is a creation united by the fates of two different beings: a mutant with acid instead of blood and a ubiquitous spaceship pilot whose body housed a colony of spiders. By joining bodies and minds, these two subjects merged in the ecstasy of eternal love that could not be destroyed by social status, wars, friends, or enemies. Urist and "Mother" ceased to exist, these two "caterpillars" were transformed into a "butterfly."
After spending several months in a cocoon and growing a new body, she fell onto the cold concrete - Cassidy. She did not remember her ancestors, but felt their presence within herself. From one of her parents, Cassidy inherited a mutant essence and a face that cannot be hidden from society and persecution. Paternal acid left an indelible mark on her flesh in the form of eternal burns. From the second, she inherited the ability to control a colony of carnivorous spiders and grow them inside her own body. Cassidy's little friends were ready to jump on any enemy and explode with an acid bomb just to save their queen from attack.
Although her body was already mature at "birth," her mind took time to catch up and understand the new world. Through the pain, burning, suffering, and wild horror of the first few months, Cassidy first gained self-awareness, and then the ability to survive in this world. She quickly encountered enough assholes. But as with finding a diamond in the trash, so among enemies, one can find friends, one just needs patience. And this quality she acquired on her own, without inheriting it from her parents.
