The "True" boss modes usually just recolor the bosses, but what if it redesigned them as well?

The Soulmelter variant of the mages consists of gold and white, which is a pallet brightening I didn't think looked better compared to dominating black (which looking back at this now I feel I failed to explore the white color which I might mess with later, especially because black skin looks pretty badass), so I wanted to try to change outfits to something "cooler". The Soulmelter's brighter colors give off a sort of angelic vibe so I wanted to make the new designs look like the mages have "ascended" or something. Having the focus be on the clothes and shapes, I ended up working on them bilaterally which resulted in much more of an idealized and flat style. The reigns from then on went into a kind of ancient god art style that I have a soft spot for.

The visual of Kirby wrestling with divine constellations fits surprisingly well, and makes me a bit frustrated that I don't yet have a big enough IQ to wrangle the emotions that feed into that grand imagination and convert it into a drawing.

Maybe later I could also soup up ideas for mirror versions of the mages, probably by making corrupted equivalents that expand on the faulty side of their personalities.
