Hello again!

I'm gonna be blunt here, If you've been following me or lurking through my art profiles/galleries, you've most likely already noticed that these concepts right here take up a considerable part of them.

And I think I haven't presented them properly, even after so much time.

So let's get to the point, shall we?

----------------------------------------

Clockwork

"Stan Berryman, a 15-year-old boy with powers ends up getting into trouble with several mafias in his city, because he was mistaken for his missing father, who was a brutal bounty hunter. Now he will have to find a way to stop them from hurting him and his loved ones."

This story is set in Starry Bay City, a fictional city in North Carolina, between summer 2009 and spring 2011 (and I'm gonna make sure to make it feel like it). This city is known for having a bizarre lore in terms of supernatural events, mainly related to a local circus and its members, though, at least in-universe, they're brushed off as rumors or urban legends.

Stan Berryman is the main character of this story, he's a descendant of a rather obscure lineage of bounty hunters who share the title THE DEVOURER (case sensitive). His father used to be one until he disappeared in Christmas Eve 1999. It is planned that this story touches the subject of Stan's lineage, his roots, his family, who he is and who he really wants to be... Basically teenagehood.

I first came up with this idea back in 2018, inspired after watching The Incredibles 2 movie, and thus I created three fan-characters: Dust-Man, Absorb and Fleshboy.

- Dust-Man would later be reconceptualized as Dust-Madame and then renamed Dustellina, because I thought it'd be more interesting.

- Absorb would be renamed Mr. Ace in 2023 (I really should make a character sheet at this point).

- Fleshboy would be given the name of Stan and would be reconceptualized to be less edgy and more naive/dense.

The concept changed a lot with my obsession for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, one time I thought "Hey, if Araki can flex his music taste/playlist in his story, I think I can too", thus I started with that habit.

So far, I have finished only one chapter, it may not be much, but I'm kinda proud of it... Though I'm not sure how to continue the story, so for the moment the comic is in hiatus while I figure it out.

Also, I'm thinking about changing the art-style to a more manga-like aesthetic, mostly because coloring + rendering takes a lot of time, and knowing how prone I am to procrastinate and my current situation with college, I think it'd take another eternity and a half to finish the rest of the story.

I think that's all I have to say for the moment about this project, let's continue with...

--------------------------------------------

Blank Canvas

"One bird, 4 items, 4 distorted realities and one goal."

A fanfiction series revolving around an enigmatic being called "The Painter" and his mission to collect four strange items for a weakened god refered to as "The Void". This series may involve some themes like depression, existencial dread, horror, angst, death, and all that depressive stuff I took from games like OFF and some cringe fanfics.

Also, almost all the characters are from shows credited to Craig McCracken.

This is the shortest story so far, with only 4 acts, with 2-4 chapters each.

- The First Act is set in a distortion of Townsville, a city where THE ANGEL (The Perfect Little Girl) is out of control, applying martial law to anyone whe deems as inferior.

- The Second Act is set in a distortion of the Mansion and it's surroundings, place where THE TULPAMANCER (Goo Goo Ga Ga) remade the world as her liking, ruling what is essentially a hedonistic paradise.

- The Third Act is set in a galaxy far far away, where THE NAMELESS (Wander) has a last will: Visit the Center of The Universe.

- The Fourth Act is divided in two sides. Side A is set on a californian-desert, where a mysterious tornado has settled its presence and has made one of its residents the entity refered to as THE ENVOY (Kid).

Side B is the culmination of the story, set in an unknown realm, where The Void is waiting for The Painter.

I came up with these "What-if" characters back in early 2023, and have been developing the concept ever since, I even made some "moodboard playlists" on YouTube and many character bios in Refsheet.

I'm planning make this a written story more than a webcomic for all the reasons stated above, however, I'm planning to make illustrations depicting key moments as a complement.

I know the overall concept may be considered silly, edgy or nonsensical, but whatever, I'm fully going with the rule of cool with this one.

Literally Two Souls

"After a set of incidents at art school, Goo returns to her home city and begins to work full time at Foster's while she thinks in a way to solve her problem with something she never thought would return... Or would even exist. Little did she know that these would be the two weirdest years of her life."

A FHFIF Timeskip fanfiction inspired (maybe too heavily) in Vento Aureo, Metallica, and some other stuff I can't recall right now. The title of the fanfiction comes from that meme about Venom's pronouns.

The basis of this AU is a not-so simple question: What would happen if an imaginary friend was only "half-imagined"? I mean, like, what if someone tried to create a friend, but somehow lost the capacity of creating while creating it? Does that friend stay in their mind? Does it get erased? Is an incomplete creation? Or is it something potentially worse?

It also tries to answer a series of questions related to the show's worldbuilding:

- "Are there groups/gangs made up of imaginary friends roaming the streets?" I mean, they are sentient beings and they're capable of doing evil, and knowing there is a certain... Uhh, discrimination (?) towards them (e.g: being treated like pets despite them being sentient, not being allowed in certain places/jobs, etc.), it wouldn't be a surprise there were groups living in the streets or in hidden communities, unbeknownst to the mansion and affiliates.

- "How did Frankie's Friend look like?" Craig himself stated a while ago that the reason Frankie is working at the mansion is to one day reunite with her lost imaginary friend, who was kicked out of her parents' house due to her father having an awful relationship with Mr. Herriman. I will not say much else since it's an important part of this story (A.K.A: Spoilers).

This fanfiction touches these Fridge Horror/Logic/headscratch themes of the original show's worldbuilding, while also making Goo, a secondary character, the protagonist, why? Mostly because I think she's underrated and generally underrepresented. Just like Peanut Butter once said:

"What's this the Wilt, Ed and Coco show?"

Toulouse is Goo's last and incomplete creation. They have a sort of Venom/Moon Knight/Deadpool-like relationship. Her name was supposed to be a pun on "Too Loose", "Too", "Two" and "Goo", I didn't know there was a French city of the same name.

The main plot of this fanfic is Goo trying to help Toulouse get out of her mind, while also stopping SPECTRO, an evil businessman/singer/entrepeneur/entertainer whose intentions are (for now) spoilers.

In this AU, (most of) the main cast makes a return, even secondary characters like Young Man Rivers

Also there might be some Mac x Goo fluff here and there because I (still) love this ship (even if I don't post much of it).

I'd like to make this fanfic is as faithful to the canon rules as possible... But I can't guarantee. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, the format will be the same as BLANK CANVAS's, a written story with illustrated depictions of key moments.

--------------------------------------------

I think that's it for now. I know I said I'd post it the day after the Kaufmo post, but, well, I fell into procastination. I'm sorry for that, and thank you for your patience.

Until then, good day, good evening and good night.
