"Whilst often Mistaken for Exophants or close relatives, Crhinos are actually unrelated to Xenephantimorphs entirely, actually being basal relatives of Prionotheres. these odd terrapods are also much rarer, and usually take a much wider range of food, being more of a boar then the Exophant's elephant or sauropod, although they are alot more selective, perferring fresh shoots, fallen fruits, and other more nutiotous bits. chrinos are also generally heard more then seen, their tell-tale vocals being a somewhat uncommon part of the Soundscape of Aliuloco's forested reigions. Exophants, on the other hand, are bulky herbivores that simply mash down and intensely digest whatever fodder they can get, usually foliage and "grass". Exophants are also much more common, be it solitary species or more social forms, and are readily identified by their low calls, and distinctive, chest-armed profiles." - The Ultimate guide to Aliuloco's Terrapods, 10th edition, 2620.
