This design is inspired by a lot of things, and in case you don't care to read, I'll put the boring part at the bottom.

I don't often draw, so it's always neat when I find something that inspires me!

THE BORING PART - DESIGN THOUGHTS

I've always been fond of wizards. Online I tend to present myself as either a goat or a sheep; whichever works, really.

I first wanted to go with something Terraria-esque. I enjoy both the spellcaster and the summoner classes, so I did a mix. AQ3D, no matter what other things one has to say about it, at least captures the spirit of a spellcaster well.

I like Dark Souls, and there was a lot of fire in the ideas I had, so I figured I'd go full pyromancer.

Now, pyromancers can be found in all kinds of IPs; Megumin from Konosuba, Wizard101, Dark Souls, Magic: the Gathering... so yeah!

I based the stats mostly off JoCat's own character. He imagined a system where each stat can have up to 50 points.

HP, MP and SP were based on the same; take the total and divvy it up in a way that makes sense. This part is maybe not as sensible, but his system, if there is one, is a black box to me.

I wanted a chill dude. What skills better suit a master of fire than blacksmithing and cooking? Now, my wizard isn't exactly the most buff, so cooking it is! I like food, so it's a skill I can vibe with.

The weapons are straight out of Terraria, and the first skill is a Magic card (ish), while the latter is Megumin's famous catchphrase: "EXPUR-OOOOOO-SION!"

I wanted the skills to work with each other at least somewhat. In the end, I'm happy with this silly little design of mine. A little simplistic maybe, but I'm also not an experienced artist. This was for fun :>
